Admission By Donation
Admission is FREE! Donations are gratefully accepted, suggested levels are:
- $6.00 – Adults
- $5.00 – Seniors (65+) and Youth (12-18)
- $3.00 – Children/Students
- $15.00 – Families
Your donation will be used by the Government House Historical Society to support programs, exhibits and collection care.
No cash? Not to worry, we can now also accept debit and credit donations!

No Food or Drinks
Food and drinks (including water) are not permitted in the galleries. You can store your drink bottles in our lobby and enjoy food and drinks in the lobby or outside in the park.
Where We Are
Government House is located at 4607 Dewdney Ave, just three blocks West of Lewvan Drive. Buses can drop their groups off at the sidewalk entrance in the Visitor Parking lot.
Please make use of the Visitor Parking lot at Connaught Street.

Accessibility
Government House has accessible parking spots, pathways (cement/sidewalks, compact gravel, natural ground), and automatic entrance doors. In the winter, it is only the main cement sidewalks/pathways that are cleared.
Government House is completely wheelchair accessible both inside and outside throughout the year.
Please inquire at the Welcome Desk to access one of our complimentary wheelchairs or walkers.
All public washrooms in Government House have accessible stalls.
We have also partnered with two other organizations to make Government House more accessible.
